That’s what the first visitors having been writing in the visitors book at

Festoon
the festival of
lost luggage and found music.

The two-week event opened this week with performances of experimental contemporary music, eating of crisps and dressing up.

Festoon mixes music - by many - and art - mostly by Kate - in one big room. The art is mostly made from stuff found by the roadside.

Festoon runs til 7 Sept at Stoke Newington Library Gallery, Edwards Lane, London N16.

The fabulous Festoon - festival of lost luggage and found songs - is getting sweaty under the belt.

It kicks of proper on Thursday 26 August with a private view (6pm) followed by musical surprises.

Then on Tuesday 31 August there’s a harp workshop, no less, with superstar harpist Oliver Wass. That’s at 6:30pm.

Big thanks to everyone who came to Cross Kings on Thursday 28. Five bands, lots of singing, and an auction to boot.

Top lots were The Domesday book, sold for £20, the oven glove of love for £10 and Bruce Willis’s The Return of Bruno for £8.

We raised total of £150 for Friends of the Earth Haiti.
