HallEUeen at the BrexyTrotwood

Say tata to disharmony and hola to a rebooted Clerkenwell ARTSlab on 28 October.
Our specially selected line-up of high-earning artistes from across the genre divides will ply you with home-grown, free-to-roam poems, songs, wind-up toys and cake in an evening that promises to change the way you think about Britain’s role in most things.
All the way from Luton – John Hegley, scandalously talented, internationally-acclaimed, immaculately turned-out, will speak and sing us all towards a zestful place.
All the way from Oxford – George Chopping is currently working as a building labourer for a man called Alan. George is still writing bits for his second official collection of poetry entitled Fock. His first collection, Smoking with Crohn’s, was crowd-fund published by Unbound and he hopes the same might happen to Flock. He lives on a narrow boat on the Thames with his wife Rachel and cat Badger.
Speaking of boats, all the way from the sea – Mermaid Chunky defy you not to sway, bob and splash to the waves of rhythm and mystery cascading from their gadget-rich bows. We welcome them back with open tidal defences.
All the way from downstairs – Diego Brown & the Good Fairy have some ideas of their own about what should happen to people who break the law.
Cake, candles and kindly words – all for just £8 or £5 concessions.
